Outlook 2007 Email Settings (Click here for Outlook 2003 instructions)

1. Tools - Account Settings

2. On the E-mail tab, select your ripco e-mail account and double-click. Review your Internet E-mail Settings for the following items.

User Information
Your Name: Should read how you want your name to appear
E-mail Address: Your @ripco.com email address
Server Information
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: email.ripco.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): email.ripco.com

Logon Information
User Name: Your Ripco user name, NOT your email address
Password: Type your password

Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) SHOULD BE UNCHECKED!

3. Click the More Settings... button near the lower right corner of the dialog box. Select the Outgoing Server tab and insure that the User Name and Password are entered properly and that Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA) IS UNCHECKED!

4. Click the Advanced tab. Check the following settings.

Server Port Numbers
Incoming server (POP3): 995
This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) SHOULD BE CHECKED!
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encrypted connection: Auto

5. Click OK

NOTE: You may need to exit outlook and reconnect for these settings to take effect.



Outlook 2003 Email Settings

1. Tools - Email Accounts

2. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and then click Next. 3. Select your ripco e-mail account and click Change. Review your Internet E-mail Settings for the following items.

User Information
Your Name: Should read how you want your name to appear
E-mail Address: Your @ripco.com email address
Server Information
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: email.ripco.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): email.ripco.com

Logon Information
User Name: Your Ripco user name, NOT your email address
Password: Type your password
